New users: Download the Ripple Chat Bot installer file (it's the one with more downloads). Installation and setup is straightforward.
Updating users: Please use the Updater to download new updates unless the news says you need to download the new installer.
Vista Users: To install this program, right click the installer once downloaded and select "Run as Administrator" to install correctly. Updating will most likely not work correctly. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
Linux Users: Ripple Chat Bot is tested for compatibility under WINE, using the latest builds. Currently, some features such as UPnP and Emoticons are incompatible, but the application will run, given the correct settings. A how-to will be written for running RCB in WINE shortly.
Programmers: The source code is for programmers who wish to view or modify the bot's source code. It serves no purpose to the average user.
Ripple Chat Bot requires the Visual Basic Runtime Environment, MSSCRIPT.OCX, GIFAni.OCX, COMDLG32.OCX, RICHTX32.OCX, MSCOMCTL.OCX, MSWINSCK.OCX, RRTrayIcon.OCX, SecureIM.OCX, vbalTreeView6.OCX and SSubTmr6.dll. All these files may be obtained from the Dependencies page.
